Cuti-cuti Malaysia @ Sebana Cove Resort

Sebana Cove in Johor is one of the easiest holiday resorts to head to for those looking for a short, 2-3 day break, and who don’t want to cut into their holiday with too much time spent on the road.

The harbour resort sits inside an estuary of the Sungei (‘River’) Santi and is situated on Malaysia’s southern peninsula, about 25kms south west from the east coast resort of Desaru.

Perhaps the most convenient and quickest way to reach Sebana Cove if you are simply looking for a weekend of golf, is to hop on to a 45-minute ferry ride from Tanah Merah to the resort’s own immigration checkpoint at its harbour.

Should you want to take your car and explore the area around Sebana Cove then getting there is still a breeze. And you’ll be richer for the experience too experiencing Johor’s greenery and laid-back kampong life.

Driving there takes around two to three hours, depending on how quick you want to push on and, of course the time of day.

WHAT IS SEBANA COVE?

The resort and golf course were established in 1995 and are set within 1200 acres of dense, tropical rainforest and mangrove swamps that were (and still are) fringed by mangrove swamps.

The Marina can accommodate 100 boats up to 80 metres long and is surrounded by natural riverine and the mangroves. It is
rich in marine life. The essence of the development has been
to retain the natural surroundings. It is the only real Marina situated on the East Coast of Malaysia and sits seven nautical miles east of Changi Sailing Club.
